‘Conway Burger Week’ takes over Horry County eateries starting Monday

Patties of every shape, matter and flavor will take Horry County restaurants by storm next week for the first-ever Conway Burger Week.

“Buckle up burgercups,” Conway Downtown Alive said of the week-long festival. “Your favorite restaurants have signed up to concoct mouthwatering, outlandish burger creations for a limited time.”

Some of the “burgerlicious offerings” are so detailed that they can barely fit into a single sentence. Here are a couple.

  • Rivertown Bistro: Duck jalapeño slider burger with duck fat aioli, bacon and horseradish pickle on a Hawaiian roll

  • Crafty Rooster: CINO burger with Chanticleer sauce, provolone, lettuce, tomato and ranch.

We do not know what Chanticleer sauce is. Maybe it tastes like chicken, but teal?

Anyway, here’s the full list of restaurants participating in Burger Week, which runs Sept. 19 through Sept. 25. A full and detailed menu can be found online at ConwayAlive.com.
