Starting at 11 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Cracker Barrel is offering up a traditional turkey-and-dressing Thanksgiving meal. Guests may also order a seasonal favorite, their country fried turkey (pictured here) or their classics like country fried steak, meatloaf and chicken and dumplings from a simplified lunch and dinner menu. We know we said this last year, but quite a few of us are tired of cooking.

Never-ending waves of COVID-19 meant a lot of time spent at home in front of the stove. By the time this Thanksgiving has rolled around, it’s understandable that maybe, just maybe, the idea of cooking a giant feast suddenly isn’t very appetizing.

Not to worry, there’s no shortage of places in the Grand Strand serving Thanksgiving meals to-go or offering dine-in service of America’s most famous dinner.

Last week, we asked readers and businesses where people should go if they want to dodge the hassle of cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Here are the places they recommend.

This list is in no way exhaustive. Did we miss something? Email ckaracostas@thesunnews.com to have it added to the list.
