The Ripken Experience Myrtle Beach is joining forces with softball star and Olympic gold medalist Jennie Finch for two girls fast pitch tournaments next summer.

Registration begins Monday for the two week-long tournaments, with “The Jennie Finch Dream and Believe Tournament” taking place June 19 to 24, 2016, and the “Jennie Finch Throw Like a Girl Tournament” taking place July 24 to 29, 2016.

Tournaments are for girls in the 12U, 14U and 16/18U divisions who will play six to nine games.

Finch will serve as the tournament ambassador for each event.

“Over the years I have had the amazing opportunity to work alongside Cal and I’m thrilled to be partnering with him again this summer,” Finch said in a press release. “Together we will be creating an exciting atmosphere in South Carolina that will be great for girls and their families. I have always respected his competitive spirit and know that this tournament will host some of the best young talent in the country.”
