New Croissants location, concept restaurant coming to Grande Dunes

A new restaurant from the owner of Croissants Bistro & Bakery is coming to Grande Dunes.

Heidi’s Corner, from owner Heidi Vukov, will include two restaurants: a second Croissants location and a new concept restaurant. The development is slated to open in spring 2017.

The idea for the concept restaurant is still in the works, Vukov said.

“As we begin to develop it, we’ll give more information, but at this point we’re not going to spill the beans,” she said.

Vukov said the new location, at the corner of 82nd Avenue North and Kings Highway, was ideal because of the growth in the neighborhood.

“Obviously we’re taking a big risk, so hopefully it’ll be a good thing,” she said.

The Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board approved preliminary plans for the development June 16.
