Free beer: Budweiser wants to pick up your tab for America's 250th
Budweiser wants to buy you a beer in celebration of America's 250th birthday.
The beer brand said beginning June 29, consumers 21 and up can visit us.budweiser.com/americatab, enter their information, and if verified they'll receive a $6 digital gift card to purchase a beer on Budweiser to celebrate the Fourth of July and America's semiquincentennial.
Consumers should act fast, however, as the offer is only on the table until the $150,000 tab runs out.
"For years, Budweiser has shown up for the moments that bring Americans together. This summer, as America celebrates its 250th birthday, we wanted to do more than mark an anniversary; we wanted to honor the people who make those moments possible," said Todd Allen, SVP of marketing for Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch, in a news release.
"Covering America's tab is our way of turning gratitude into action: to thank the hardworking people who've made Budweiser part of everyday life, and to give them a chance to share a beer, reconnect and celebrate the resilience and spirit that have defined this country for generations," Allen said.
Other food, beverage brands join in on celebrating Fourth of July, America's 250th birthday
Budweiser is one of many food and beverage brands to offer consumers a fun product or deal associated with Independence Day and America's 250th birthday.
Burger King, Krispy Kreme, Whataburger, McDonald's and Mountain Dew, among many others, are offering certain deals or red, white, and blue-themed items to celebrate the semiquincentennial.
Burger King is offering its Royal Perks members a Whopper Jr. for $2.50 on the BK App or on BK.com while Krispy Kreme is offering customers a free Original Glazed doughnut to customers who wear red, white and blue in-store on July 4.
