Myrtle Beach bakery known for its gourmet cinnamon rolls to close. What we know

A Myrtle Beach bakery known for its gourmet cinnamon rolls will close at the end of December.

Cinnaholic Myrtle Beach, part of a vegan bakery chain offering “create your own” sweet treats, announced Wednesday in a Facebook post that it would permanently close on Dec. 31st at 5 p.m. The bakery is located at 1399 South Commons Drive.

The bakery is known for its customizable, plant-based selections, including cookies, brownies and edible cookie dough. The location originally opened in the fall of 2023, attracting customers eager to try their unique foods. Among the most popular were the build your own cinnamon roll and the turtle cinnamon roll with caramel, chocolate and pecans, according to the shop’s website.

During its operation, the bakery earned a 4.4 out of five stars rating on Google with more than 150 reviews.

Why is Cinnaholic closing?

In their announcement, the business stated that “low daily sales” left them unable to keep up with business expenses, leading to the decision to close down completely.

Customers looking for a sweet treat can still stop by and enjoy the bakery’s offerings until the new year.

Cinnaholic Myrtle Beach did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Wednesday afternoon.
