A downtown Myrtle Beach business moved. Here’s where their new location is

A locally-owned and operated business recently moved from downtown Myrtle Beach to further north at the Tanger Outlets just outside of North Myrtle Beach.

Lucid Coast Candle Company offers organic homemade fragrances and candles and in-person workshops to learn how to make them.

One of the co-owners, Chase Masters, said he and his partner have been thrilled with the new location so far.

“We’re so happy to be here,” Masters said over the phone on Thursday. “Tanger actually approached us, which we adore them. We did a small vendor event with them back in April, and one of their heads in the company came over and loved our business, and asked if we had any other locations, and it went from there.”

According to previous Sun News reporting, Lucid Coast launched in 2021, with its handmade products being sold at farmers markets and breweries between Wilmington and Charleston.

The business was formerly located along 9th Avenue North across the street from the HTC Aspire Hub and the former La Manna Bread bakery.
