Myrtle Beach pizza place closes suddenly after ‘decline in the quality’

A Myrtle Beach pizza restaurant has shut its doors temporarily after new management caused a “decline in the quality and reputation.”

Cafe Vincenzo’s, 7710 N. Kings Hwy, will be closed for an undisclosed amount of time. It is unclear what day the restaurant closed. The restaurant did not respond to a request to comment from The Sun News.

On July 22, the windows were covered in paper and there was a sign on the front door explaining that the restaurant owners brought in a new party for management who did not run the restaurant to the owner’s standards.

“Unfortunately, this resulted in a decline in the quality and reputation that so many of you came to know and love,” the sign read.

The owners are now trying to restore “the character” before they welcome patrons back with “better food, better service and a renewed dedication to excellence.”

Cafe Vincenzo’s first opened in 2022, according to Myrtle Beach Happy Hour. The restaurant served pizza baked in a brick-oven, pasta and main courses like lamb marsala.
