Mid-century modern hotel for sale in Myrtle Beach, SC. What is the asking price?
A 1960s hotel-turned-apartment on the south end of Myrtle Beach is the newest hotel on the market.
The Ocean Breeze Hotel, 2010 S. Ocean Blvd., has been listed for $7.25 million, according to a LoopNet listing. The hotel has 60 rooms total, with 51 studio guest rooms and nine one-bedroom suite units.
The hotel is being advertised as a “turn-key investment” property. The hotel, which was built in 1968, underwent renovations in 2023 and 2024, with the owners updating the plumbing and fire safety, painting the interior and exterior, replacing cabinets and countertops in multiple rooms and upgrading appliances, the listing said.
The Ocean Breeze is five stories total, with a parking lot and communal patio. It is situated on South Ocean Boulevard across the street from the Grand Atlantic. There are no photos of the rooms’ interiors included on the LoopNet listing.
Although it is being sold as a hotel, it appears the Ocean Breeze operated as an apartment building under the name “Pace View 1.” A Zillow listing shows Pace View 1 has no available units, but at one point offered six-month and one-year leases for a fully furnished apartment.
The property does not include a pool but is across the street from the beach. A parking lot located across Cassandra Lane is also included in the purchase.
