A new store is opening in the Market Common area of Myrtle Beach. Here’s what we know

A new store is coming to the Market Common in Myrtle Beach in the early months of 2025.

REEDS Jewelers will be opening a new location in early 2025, a release from the company said.

A sign outside the future location along Howard Avenue shows that the new REEDS location will be across the street from Valor Memorial Garden.

“As The Market Common continues to evolve into the premier shopping, dining, and lifestyle destination in Myrtle Beach, the addition of REEDS Jewelers reflects a commitment to providing visitors with exceptional experiences and premium brands,” a statement from The Market Common’s marketing coordinator Kirsten Camp said.

Camp said over the phone on Monday that at this point there are no commercial leasing vacancies in The Market Common.

Every storefront or restaurant space that might appear to be vacant is either under construction or under final negotiations and in the early stages of getting ready to open, she said.

REEDS also currently operates another Myrtle Beach, SC location in the Coastal Grand Mall, the company’s website said.

They sell diamonds, luxury watches, along with wedding bands and engagement rings.

REEDS is a family-owned business that was founded in 1946 with a store in downtown Wilmington, NC. The company is still headquartered in North Carolina today, according to their website.
