A popular North Myrtle Beach breakfast spot just announced they’re closing their doors

A popular breakfast spot in North Myrtle Beach announced on Saturday that they’ll be permanently shutting their doors ahead of the holiday season this year.

The operators of the Eggs Up Grill franchise in Barefoot Landing announced on social media that they’ve decided not to renew their franchise agreement, and will be closing.

“After much prayer and reflection, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Eggs Up Grill, Barefoot,” their post said. “We will not be renewing our 10-year franchise agreement, as we must consider our overall physical health and our age. It has been an incredible journey and owe our sincere thanks to those we have had the honor to serve.”

Wednesday was their last operating day.

Eggs Up Grill is a chain of breakfast restaurants that operates throughout the Southeastern United States. According to their company’s main website, they have restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Their menu features items such as the Coastal Crab Cake Benedict, Avocado Toast and Eggs and Banana Foster French Toast.

Other area locations include one in Market Common and another at 38th Avenue N in Myrtle Beach.
