Is the Myrtle Beach area getting a new Dunkin Donuts? Here’s what we know so far

Will there be a new Dunkin Donuts in Surfside Beach?

According to corporate spokesperson, Julia Voutour, the franchise located at 8709 U.S. Highway 17 was under construction and officially reopened today.

She explained that the current Dunkin’ was being remodeled into a Next Generation Dunkin’ store, and that’s why it was closed and under construction.

There isn’t any new information on any new Dunkin’ franchises that could be opening up in the Surfside Beach area as of Wednesday afternoon.

This new model of store highlights a new modern design, a premium pour system for cold beverages, increased energy efficiency and a dedicated mobile order pick-up area called Dunkin’ on Demand.

Some of Dunkin’s signature cold beverages will be served through a new, innovative tap system for cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee, Voutour said.

Including this remodeled store, Surfside Beach has two Dunkin’ Donuts locations, according to the company’s store finder.
