The former Wing Zone space in Loris will soon be filled with a new local restaurant.

A menu online said there will be a salad bar, buffet and sandwiches. The buffet will include Southern favorites such as hush puppies and collard greens, as well as seafood. The lunch buffet will be $13.50 while dinner and Sunday brunch are $17.50.

Sandwiches are made to order and will be offered as a basket. There will be shrimp, flounder and pork chop sandwiches, among other options. They will range in price from $6 for a sandwich to $12 with fries and a drink.

Maverick’s Downtown will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
