Several businesses will be opening in Carolina Forest.

The new 9,600-square-foot property will house the four businesses that have already been selected and have already started setting up at the location.

The new storefront is next to Lowes Foods.

Three of the new businesses will be restaurants and several are new to the area.

Zeytin is a breakfast and lunch restaurant. It will join Capriotti’s, which is a sandwich shop.

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, a national restaurant chain, serves cheese steaks, sub-style sandwiches and specialty sandwiches with Wagyu beef.

Another of the eateries, Miyabi Jr. Japanese Express, may be familiar to Grand Strand residents. The company already has a restaurant in Horry County and plans to expand to more spots in the coming year.

While most of the stores will be restaurants, Earthwise Pet Nutrition Center & Wellness Spa will also be located in the storefront. The company offers pet grooming, doggy daycare, home delivery and specializes in “teaching customers how to help their pets live longer and healthier,” according to Earthwise’s website.

Sachin Patel, owner of the new building, said that he expanded into Carolina Forest because of the growth in the region. Patel, who also owns several hotels and other local businesses in the area, said the retail center would be his first in the Grand Strand.
