Airline announces new nonstop flights to Myrtle Beach from this New York town
Breeze Airways will bring new nonstop flights to Myrtle Beach from New York next spring.
Beginning May 6, 2026, the airline will fly two times weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, between Long Island MacArthur Airport and Myrtle Beach, according to an announcement made by the town of Islip, NY.
The flights are already available for booking, starting at $69, the announcement said. Tickets are available on flybreeze.com.
The airline’s Airbus A220 Aircraft will service this route.
Breeze Airways has already established flights from MacArthur to Charleston, SC, as well as Virginia, Florida and North Carolina in recent years. Now, Long Island travelers will have easier access to Grand Strand shores.
MacArthur Airport is about 50 miles from New York City, and is the closest airport to 2.8 million Long Island residents, according to the town of Islip.
The flights will add to the Myrtle Beach International Airport’s roster of more than 50 nonstop locations. The airport is one of the busiest in South Carolina, serving more than 3 million passengers every year, according to the airport’s website.
Myrtle Beach International Airport did not immediately respond for comment on Wednesday.
