Animal Tales | All about Chicklet
My name is Chicket.
Chicklet is a Pomeranian, but looks so cute cut like a “lion” with only her head and the tip of her tail left long. She is a senior citizen now, and will be 13 years old soon. She still likes to play like a puppy with all of her toys. Her favorite is a raggedy old wolf that has been sewn many times and the squeeker is broken. She walks a bit slower now due to arthritis in her front legs, but still gets around pretty good. She loves to chase to lizards around, but has never been able to get one yet! She loves to walk around her property and sit in the sun. We love her so much because she is such a special girl. She loves her Mom especially, but loves her Dad too. She loves to be rubbed and itched and will sit there for the longest time allowing you to rub her.
Chicklet loves her food too. Sometimes the only way to get her in from outside is to ask her if she wants a treat. Then she will usually come running. A little spoon of ice cream is the way she loves to end her day. If you try to go to bed without giving it to her, she will let you know in no uncertain terms. We certainly were lucky to find such a wonderful friend and companion.
