Animal Tales | All about Wags

Submitted photo

My name is Wags. I was adopted seven years ago from the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society when I was 2. I’m a very friendly male tabby who has never met a stranger. I greet people at the front door and stand on my hind legs to make sure they get a chance to scratch the side of my face and pet me. My parents have been “trained” to cater to my every need. I love being brushed, napping in sunny places, and sitting on a rug in the kitchen while “helping” my mommy cook. When the weather is nice, I like to sit in the sun on a comfy chair on the veranda and watch for ducks and other animals around the pond. Sometimes I catch a tiny gecko that has found a way to sneak onto the veranda and present it to my parents. I don’t eat them, but I have accidentally bitten off part of one of their tails. My very favorite activity is sitting on things (newspapers, computers, cellphones, handbags, boxes, exercise equipment, clothes in laundry bags, etc.). Sometimes I even try on my daddy’s flip flops! If you need a FUN companion, please visit the NMB Humane Society soon and adopt one of my friends. They will bring lots of love and laughter into your home. Thanks!
