Animal Tales | All about Gabby and Bocci

These are our Spinone Italianos sitting next to Santa, Gabby (left), 7, and Bocci, 5. They are very sociable, docile and often very clownish.

The breed originated in Italy and was bred for hunting. Gabby is extremely curious and smart. She loves to explore and chase after sand crabs, and like with many other pets, we have to spell words around her.

Bocci, on the other hand, loves to cuddle and is a follower. He thinks he is a lap dog and will freeze and point at any bird that crosses his path. They both make our house a home and fit right into our daily routines. Beware though, after drinking, their beards will leave a trail of water throughout the house.
