Animal Tales | All about Lulu

Hi! My name is Lulu, and I’m a Devon Rex. I have pink ears, a pink nose and yellow eyes. Most of the time I am a Big City Kitty (New York City), but during the summer, I visit South Carolina with my owner, Kim.

As much as I love the “Big Apple,” I enjoy my southern summers — especially sitting/snoozing/relaxing on the big screened-in porch at Kim’s parents’ house (Berni and Chuck Bader) in Pawleys Island. There also is a lot of bird and squirrel watching to be done, something I don’t get to do a lot of back home.

Last summer, I had quite an adventure going back to NYC. I was feeling somewhat cramped in my cat carrier under the seat in the airplane, so as we were preparing to land, I decided to stretch my paws a bit. Kim found me a few (panicked) minutes later, but by then, I’d already made a few friends several rows up. I’ll bet they were shocked to see a kitty roaming the aisles at 20,000 feet. Needless to say, I was the talk of that trip!
