Menus for Marshi Gras Feb. 9
The 2016 Marshi Gras celebration Feb. 9 brings out the best cajun cooking from chefs along the Marsh Walk.
Here is a peek at some of the menu items:
Dead Dog Saloon is serving shrimp and sausage gumbo and cajun chicken jambalaya with a side of red beans and rice.
Captain Dave’s Dockside/Bubba’s Love Shak will feature pork rillettes as a special appetizer, crawfish Etouffee as the entree special, Beignets as a special dessert and Dave’s Dockside will have Sazerac as a cocktail special.
Drunken Jacks will have seafood gumbo available for lunch and dinner. The lunch special will be shrimp creole and rice with cajun fried catfish. Their dinner special will be blackened grouper and yellow stone grits with pepper cheese finished with a cajun crawfish cream sauce.
Bovines will have seafood jambalaya with hush puppies.
Creek Ratz will have seafood gumbo.
Wicked Tuna will feature jumbo lump crab beignets, crawfish macaroni and cheese bites, and the local catch with creole cheddar grits.
