Midwest-based sandwich chain coming to Myrtle Beach with two new locations
An Ohio-based sandwich chain is debuting in the Myrtle Beach area with two new locations.
Penn Station Subs, formerly known as Penn Station East Coast Subs, is headquartered in Cincinnati with more than 300 locations in the Midwest and East Coast. There are currently two South Carolina locations in Fort Mill and Rock Hill.
“We’re incredibly excited to officially bring Penn Station to Myrtle Beach,” said franchise owner Eric Fairbanks, who has nine other locations. “Signing this deal feels like the natural next step in our growth journey, and we’re proud to expand into such a dynamic market with a brand we believe in deeply.”
In addition to classic cold and grilled hot sandwiches, Penn Station Subs is known for its French fries and fresh-squeezed lemonade. The chain also recently expanded its menu to serve new options like wraps, bowls, boxed lunches and catering.
Although the deal has been finalized, development of the new restaurants is still in early stages, and the new locations and opening timelines haven’t been finalized.
