This new Myrtle Beach breakfast and brunch spot offers food wrapped in gold
Myrtle Beach’s newest breakfast and brunch restaurant is designed around indulgence.
Chocolate Bar & Grill opened in May at 1201 S. Kings Highway, introducing a new way to enjoy brunch on the Grand Strand.
Stepping into Chocolate Bar & Grill, the first thing you will notice is the gold motif throughout the interior. The host counter is painted a muted gold color, gold waterfall chandeliers line the gold ceiling and gold tiles serve as the backsplash for the bar.
The extravagance does not stop at the interior of Chocolate Bar & Grill. The brunch spot’s menu takes it one step further, with an array of decadent sweet and savory dishes, as well as creative cocktails.
Chocolate Bar & Grill’s signature dishes offer lavish spins on classic breakfast foods, such as pancakes covered in a Dubai chocolate-inspired pistachio cream or a chicken and waffles dish that can be served with the chicken wrapped in 25-karat gold.
The eatery also offers more traditional breakfast and brunch offerings for those not looking to indulge their sweet tooth, including salads, omelets and sandwiches.
Families bringing their children to the restaurant can also enjoy creative dishes on the kids menu, like a colorful grilled cheese or pancakes that allow children to paint their own toppings.
For dessert, you can try one of the restaurant’s milkshakes that is presented in a themed mason jar cup. Enjoy your strawberry milkshake in a cup with a mini flamingo pool float on it or a chocolate milkshake with toy money and poker chips on the cup.
Diners can also enjoy a trendy cocktail alongside their breakfast or brunch meal, with options ranging from a Biscoff martini to a citrus cocktail adorned with gold leaf.
Chocolate Bar & Grill is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. serving breakfast and brunch every day.
