This national pizza chain is closing its Myrtle Beach area locations. Here’s when
Mod Pizza is closing its three Grand Strand locations after 10 years in the area.
The fast-casual chain known for its build-your-own-pizza model will shut down its Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach restaurants on March 21.
Based in Seattle, Mod Pizza operates nearly 450 locations across the country, according to its website. The chain was acquired by Elite Pizza Holdings in 2024 and has closed dozens of locations since.
“While this decision was difficult, it is the right step for the longevity of the brand. It also presents an opportunity for MOD Pizza to refocus, adapt and emerge stronger than ever,” a representative for Mod Pizza said in an email.
