New York pizza restaurant opening spot in Myrtle Beach. Here’s where and when.
A New York pizza chain is coming to Myrtle Beach this month.
Genova’s Pizza will open a Myrtle Beach location on Sept. 30 at 4620 Dick Pond Road, according to a release sent by the restaurant. It will be the New York-based restaurant’s first South Carolina location, and early customers will get access to special promotions and giveaways.
Genova’s was founded in New York more than 30 years ago, and has two other locations there. The family-owned pizzeria is known for its classic recipes and family-friendly environment.
The Myrtle Beach location’s menu will feature the restaurant’s full roster of signature pizza selections, as well as fresh pastas, salads and other traditional Italian favorites.
“We’re thrilled to bring our family’s tradition of pizza to Myrtle Beach,” said Nikko Genova, owner of Genova’s Pizza, in a statement. “Our goal is simple: come in as friends, leave as family. We can’t wait to share our love of great food and community with our new neighbors.”
The grand opening will start at 9 a.m., and the first 50 customers will be able to take advantage of promotions and giveaways. There will also be a chance to meet the Genova family, as well as a DJ on site on the grand opening day.
