Downtown Myrtle Beach does not have to be expensive. 6 places to eat cheap
Down Myrtle Beach, the main tourist hub in the area, is not known for its budget-friendly meals and activities.
From Ripley’s Believe It or Not which costs about $25 per person to the various restaurants charging $18 for a burger and fries, it can be easy to drop hundreds of dollars in one day.
However, if vacationers walk a few blocks away from the thrum of families getting henna tattoos and beachgoers rinsing sand off their feet, there are some delicious food options that cost less than restaurants along the Boardwalk or North Ocean Boulevard.
Grabbing a corn dog or a burger from a stand like E-Z Eats Cafe is always an option, but sometimes families need time out of the sun and at a table.
These six restaurants will not offer ocean views or crazy themes, but they will have sit-down tables and delicious entrees under $15 per person before tax and tip. And they are found less than a half mile from the SkyWheel.
