Another national brand is expanding in the Myrtle Beach area. Honey Baked Ham company is opening a new location in Surfside Beach.

The national pre-cooked meals company’s new outlet will be at 2300 Glenns Bay Road, next to the former site of Anthony’s Pizza & Pan Pasta restaurant, which closed its doors in June 2023 after two decades of service on the Grand Strand. It is not known when the new Honey Baked Ham will open.

The company could not be reached for comment before publication. Other businesses in Surfside have recently announced their plans to expand operations, too. Neal and Pam’s of Surfside Beach announced in October 2023 that they were expanding to a new location in Murrells Inlet. Their new eatery will be on the waterfront at the former site of Flo’s Place.
