If your weekend plans typically include kicking back with a hearty meal, a hot coffee and a boozy morning cocktail, our readers have you covered.

The Sun News set out to find the best brunch options in the Myrtle Beach area.

In an unscientific survey, we asked our readers which restaurant in the region has the best overall brunch, the best bloody mary and the best mimosa.

The answer was a resounding agreement: Tupelo Honey, located in the Market Common area, has the best of all three.

Tupelo Honey garnered more than 30% of the vote in each of the categories. Participants were able to vote as many times as they liked.

Blueberry’s Grill was second behind Tupelo Honey in our poll.

At Tupelo Honey, a chain featuring southern staples such as shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes, offer innovative takes on avocado toast and shakshuka on the restaurant’s brunch menu. The menu even has a separate section dedicated to different variations on classic chicken and waffles.

When it comes to cocktails, the options are extensive.

Four different mimosas, including a blueberry lavendar rendition, are offered.

The typical bloody mary takes a turn when bartenders offer whisky and tequila instead of the traditional vodka.
