Moe’s Original Bar B Que to host ‘Dining for a Cause’

Moe’s Original Bar B Que will host “Dining for a Cause” Thursday to benefit Miss Ruby’s Kids, an early childhood literacy program. Moe’s, at 12827 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island, is a relaxed Southern soul food restaurant that is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Takeout orders can be made by calling 235-8008.

Moe’s joins a number of area restaurants that have been offering a portion of their day’s proceeds to support the organization, which works with 2- and 3-year-olds and their parents/caregivers in the home. The program continues to support the children when they reach school age through the volunteer education mentor program.
