Tiny Bernese Mountain Puppy Learning New Tricks Is Almost Too Cute to Handle
All dog lovers agree, there's not much better than seeing a tiny little puppy learning new things.

Moose was very eager to show off how fast he can run, his sitting skills, shaking skills, and how well he's learning to walk on a leash. Jen captioned her video, "Every home deserves a Berner," and commenters enthusiastically agreed, sharing photos of their own Bernies in the comment section of her viral TikTok.
Fun Tricks for Puppies
It's important to set a new puppy up for success when bringing them home. Basic training and tricks sets up a solid foundation for the years to come with your new furry friend. Most professionals agree to start with the "Basic Five" commands which include:

- Teaching Your Puppy to Sit

Once your puppy has the basics down, it can be fun and stimulating to teach them other tricks or commands. Fetch is fun and can also be great exercise for your pup, "drop it" is important for safety and respect, "roll over" is not only adorable but is also helpful for grooming and making sure your dog's belly is okay, and the classic "shake" is not only fun but can also come in handy (no pun intended) for nail trims and vet visits.
Integrating a new puppy into your family is a lot of work, but it's so worth it. Seeing how they learn and grow is incredibly rewarding, and it's so fun to envision how your little puppy will become your dog best friend over the many years you'll get to spend with each other.
