New Orleans Saints' Opponent for First NFL Game in Paris Leaks
The New Orleans Saints' opponent for the first-ever NFL game in Paris has been revealed.
In February, the NFL announced that the Saints would play at the Stade de France for the historic International Series game. Three months later, we finally know the opponent.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Saints in the first NFL Paris game on Oct. 25. Kellen Moore's Saints will be designated as the home team for the Week 7 clash.
Steelers reporter Mike DeFabo of The Athletic confirmed the report from Cabot.
The Saints have played in International Series games, all in London. The first was a 37-32 win over the San Diego Chargers in 2008, followed by a 20-0 shutout win over the Miami Dolphins in 2017. In 2022, they fell 28-25 to the Minnesota Vikings.
Pittsburgh played its first international game in 2013, a 34-27 loss to the Vikings in London. Last season, they defeated Minnesota 24-21 in Dublin, the first NFL game held in Ireland.
Steelers and Saints Will Meet for First Time Since 2022
The Saints and Steelers will square off for the first time since Week 10 of the 2022 season, a 20-10 victory for Pittsburgh. The Steelers' ground game led the way that day with 217 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while the defense forced two Andy Dalton turnovers.
The NFL will release the full 2026 regular-season schedule on Thursday.
