Waccamaw Sportsmen’s Expo kicks off this weekend with dock-diving dogs

The city of Conway is co-hosting an expo for outdoor activity enthusiasts this weekend.

Waccamaw Outfitters and Conway Downtown Alive are teaming up to present the Waccamaw Sportsmen’s Expo. The event focuses on outdoor lifestyle activities along the Waccamaw River.

The event began at noon Friday and kicked off with the dock diving dogs competition at 200 Laurel Street.

The event will continue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Conway Marina on Elm Street.

Saturday’s will kick off with the Stalvey’s Bass Fishing Tournament.

Activities include local vendors, music, game and fish cooking demonstrations, a reptile education program, and archery demonstrations.
