Where to see July 4 golf cart parades in Myrtle Beach SC area. One promises you’ll get wet

Several places are offering people a chance to get creative and decorate their golf carts and boats in red, white and blue to celebrate July 4th.

Here’s where and when you can participate.

Ride into Style Golf Cart Parade

Where: The Market Common, Howard Avenue, Myrtle Beach

When: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1

The “Ride into Style” golf cart parade wants you to celebrate the 4th of July by bringing your friends, family and golf carts. The event wants participants to decorate their golf carts patriotic. The best decorated golf cart will receive the grand prize.

Pawleys Island July 4th Parade

Where: Pawleys Island Town Hall, Pawleys Island

When: 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 4

The Pawleys Island July 4th parade is a fun community event which will begin at the Pawleys Island Town Hall. Participants can decorate their golf carts, cars, boats or truck beds with patriotic themes and colors for this annual 4th of July parade that is in its 56th year. You could win one of many prizes.

Surfside Beach Golf Cart Parade

Where: Ocean Boulevard, Surfside Beach

When: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 4

Surfside Beach will be holding a 4th of July golf cart parade. You can decorate your golf cart in red, white and blue or just come out and watch this annual event. Prizes will be awarded.

Garden City Golf Cart Parade

Where: Calhoun Drive, Murrells Inlet

When: 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 4

The Garden City Golf Cart Parade is having a “wet” 4th of July golf cart parade. This event is to raise money for local first responders. Please bring spare change to donate. The Murrells Inlet fire truck will be there to lead the parade

Murrells Inlet Boat Parade

Where: The Marshwalk, Murrells Inlet

When: 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 4

Murrells Inlet Boat Parade will launch from Garden City Point heading over to the Marshwalk and continue south. This is the 40th year for this parade. “Made in America” is the theme. Decorate those boats. There will also be a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
