Not everyone is ready for the Masters. But there are a number of area charity golf tournaments that will allow you to pretend like you’re a pro either as a single or as a foursome and give back to a cause.

Here are some that are available.

Grand Strand Charity Golf Classic

  • Benefits Folds of Honor. Registration and Bloody Mary Bar at 10:30 a.m. April 29 at Azalea Sands Golf Club, 2100 Highway 17 S, North Myrtle Beach. Shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $500 per team of four. Register at birdease.com/2023mbtwinpeaks.

11th Annual Invitational Charity Golf Tournament

  • Hosted by Knights of Columbus 8980 of Garden City. June 17 with 9:30 a.m. shotgun start at Wachesaw Plantation East, Murrells Inlet. Cost is $75 per person for early registration by May 27 and $85 after. To register, contact Bill Skennion at bskennion@gmail.com.

Sons of Italy 2023 Golf Tournament

  • Noon to 5 p.m. June 17 at Prestwick Country Club, 3123 Dick Pond Road, Myrtle Beach. Cost is $125 per person. Registration and lunch begins at noon with shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Register by calling 610-751-1030 or sonsofitalymb.com.

Battle of the Bars 6th Annual Charity Scramble

  • Benefits Backpack Buddies. Registration and Bloody Mary bar begins at 7:30 a.m. July 17 at Arrowhead Country Club, 1201 Burcale Road, Myrtle Beach. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $500 for team of four. Register at birdease.com/2023mbbattle.

The Goff Foundation Charity Golf Tournament

  • Begins 7 a.m. with shotgun start at 8 a.m. Aug. 5 at Wachesaw Plantation East, Murrells Inlet. Cost is $125 per player for early bird registration or $400 for a team of four.

Cure for the Kids Golf Tournament

  • Benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Registration at 8 a.m. with shotgun start at 9 a.m. Aug. 15 at Shaftesbury Glen Golf Club, Conway. Sponsorships start at $1,500. To register, go to cureforthekids.org.

OMHC Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

  • Benefits work of Omega Men of Horry County for scholarships for Horry County students, Help kids Backpack Buddies, Back-to-School Backpacks and other school supplies for children in need. 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10 at Burning Ridge Golf Club, 500 Burning Ridge Road, Conway. Harbor City Golf Scholarship Golf Classic

  • Benefits work of Pi Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity to provide academic scholarships and sponsor mentoring workshops for youths. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with tee off at 8:30 a.m. May 27 at Founders Club, 7829 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island. Cost is $85 per player and $340 for team.
