Here’s what’s happening in Myrtle Beach area this weekend
As tourists begin to make their way to the area, more events for all age groups are popping up along the Grand Strand.
Here is a rundown of upcoming activities happening in the area over the weekend.
Events:
- Surfside Beach BBQ Festival will be Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26. On Friday night, the “Anything but BBQ” event is held from 5-7 p.m. Vendors will sell their favorite or best non-barbeque dish. On Saturday, the festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where vendors will sell BBQ and side items. Location: Surfside Drive
- The 1st annual Family Spring Fest will be Saturday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event features inflatables, face painting and balloon art. There will also be vendors selling food and drinks. Location: Deville Street in Market Common
- Market Common’s Movie Under the Stars will be Friday, March 25 at Valor Park. Disney’s “Onward” will start at 7:25 p.m. Organizers encourage attendees to bring their chairs and blankets. The free event will feature a few food vendors.
- The 8th annual Oyster Roast and Bloody Mary Contest will be Sunday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wicked Tuna in Murrells Inlet. There will be live music, vendors and food trucks.
