Trying to find a kid-friendly activity for spring break? Here’s a festival in Myrtle Beach
Broadway at the Beach is hosting a kid-friendly festival this spring for families in Myrtle Beach.
The KidzTime Festival will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, according to a Tuesday press release from the entertainment complex.
Vendors and activities will be set up outside near Build A Bear Workshop, Hard Rock Café and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.
There will also be giveaways, face painting, character appearances and a scavenger hunt.
Attendees can listen to live music from Shelley Sasser in Center Court near Build A Bear from noon to 2 p.m.
There will be more performances throughout the day, including strolling entertainment from Mr. Nigel from noon to 3 p.m. and Over the Moon Productions’ costumed stilt walkers and balloon artists strolling from noon to 4 p.m.
The complex is partnering with nonprofit Help 4 Kids and will accept donations for their Backpack Buddies program, which provides foods for students in need on the weekends.
