Myrtle Beach will host a new festival this year to provide a holiday attraction for families, city officials announced last month.

Winter Wonderland at The Beach will be held at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place and will run for 37 days starting on Nov. 26 and ending Jan. 2.

The festival will feature an outdoor ice skating rink and a walk-through holiday lights experience, according to the Facebook post.

The city’s Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism Department and Special Events department will put on the event.
