Baseball Hall of Famer and former St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Ozzie Smith is among the list of Ripken Experience Ambassadors who will visit Myrtle Beach this summer.

Smith, arguably the most impressive fielding shortstop of all time, will make an appearance during the Beach Blast Experience on June 24.
The ambassador speaker series presents weeklong campers the opportunity to meet former major leaguers and hear their stories while in town playing in summer tournaments.
Bill Ripken will open the ambassador series with a June 17 visit during the Summer Slam Experience. Others who will make appearances include: Reggie Sanders (July 1, Tidal Wave Experience), Cal Ripken Jr. (July 8, Surf’s Up Experience), Ken Griffey Sr. (July 15, Big Kahuna Experience), former softball star Jennie Finch (July 22, Ocean Breeze Experience), Tino Martinez (July 29, Wave Rider Experience) and Mookie Wilson (Aug. 5, Hang Ten Experience).
