Planning ahead, the Horry County Historical Society will host Dawn Corley, “The Charleston Silver Lady,” at 1 p.m. Jan. 12 upstairs in Conway City Hall, the Robert Mills building. Admission free.
Corley lives in Lexington and has a silver and antique shop in Lexington and one in Charleston. She is considered an expert and evaluated the artifacts from the Hunley in Charleston and frequently travels to Washington as a consultant for the Smithsonian.
