American Airlines will begin new nonstop air service from Dallas/Ft Worth International Airport (DFW) to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)
during the holiday season.
Spirit Airlines has been flying in season to and from Dallas/Fort Worth since spring 2012. These new flights are strictly for the holidays, and will run from Dec. 24 to Jan. 7.

American Airlines will operate the new service, 6 times per week on-board CRJ900 aircraft:
Flights will leave every morning, except Mondays, at 7:20 a.m. and arrive at Dallas/FortWorth at 10:55 a.m. Flights departing Dallas, except Monday, will leave at 11:25 a.m. and arrive in Myrtle Beach at 1:45 p.m.
“American’s new nonstop service, during the holidays, from Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX to Myrtle Beach, SC is welcomed news,” said Scott Van Moppes, director of airports for Horry County. “Demand for easy and convenient year-around nonstop air service is great, while the popularity of Myrtle
Beach, SC is strong. It is MYR’s hope that this service will be expanded beyond the holidays.”
