A Coastal Expeditions captain was inspired by a flock of 38 Roseate Spoonbills that he saw just south of Cape Romain recently. Take a boat cruise to find them, and then get dropped off on the south end of Bulls Island to shell and beach comb. The south end should be full of new shells following recent storms. Perfect for photographers, families and beach lovers.

Shark Tooth Boat Tours
The big washovers from Irma have revealed a fresh layer of sediment on the ancient islands that can be found in the Lowcountry. There are two tours departing from Coastal Expedition’s Shem Creek campus to find these treasures. Their guides have a keen eye for finding teeth and fossils and will share their tips on this fun adventure.
