Ingram Planetarium shifts schedule through mid-November
Through Nov. 18, Sky Theater shows at Ingram Planetarium, 7625 High Market St., Sunset Beach, N.C. are in autumn mode, with shows Thursdays-Saturdays:
— Noon – “The Sky Tonight!” noon.
— 1 p.m. – “Accidental Astronauts” in September, and “Earth, Moon and Sun” in October and Novermber.
— 2 p.m. – “Seven Wonders” in September, “Undiscovered Worlds” in October, and “Planet 9” in November.
— 3 p.m. – “ Tales of the Maya Skies” in September, “Sea Monsters in October, and “From Earth to the Universe” in November.
Also:
— Rotation of laser music shows at 7 p.m. Saturdays – but not Nov. 11, when “The Farthest: Voyager in Space” documentary will play.
— “Stars at Sunset,” 7 p.m. on first Friday monthly, showcasing stars, constellations and other celestial events visible in the night sky.
Each show is $9.50 ages 13-61, $8.50 ages 62 and older, $7.50 ages 3-12, and free ages 2 and younger. Details at 910-575-0033 or www.museumplanetarium.org.
