Myrtle Beach sees nearly half a billion dollars in new construction
About $411 million in new construction has been approved by Myrtle Beach officials between July 2016 and June 2017.
“We’ve seen city growth but this is the highest,” Carol Coleman, Myrtle Beach planning director, said. “This is higher than it was during the growth curve before the housing market fell.”
