Christmas in July, Save the Vaquita Day planned for weekend of July 8-9

“Save the Vaquita Day” – highlighting a tiny, endangered porpoise for which an estimated 30 survive worldwide – 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 8 at N.C. Second annual “Christmas in July” benefit for Canine Angels – which rescues, trains and places dogs as service companions with veterans who have disabilities – 2-6 p.m. Sunday, July 9 at Drifters Saloon, 2905 N.
