Shark Wake Park set to honor America Saturday

Shark Wake Park announces its “Happy Birthday America” party on Saturday, July 1 at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex.

The patriotic party starts at noon and will feature the first-ever floating Aqua Park capture-the-flag contest, hot dog eating contest, Wake Park best trick contest and more. Guests can cool-off at the Shark Shack with cold beer on tap and a shaded viewing deck to watch the pros shred.

Shark Wake Park is home to the largest inflatable floating obstacle course on the east coast, covering an acre of water and holding up to 120 people per hour. Guests must be at least seven years-old, 45 inches tall and a good swimmer. Rates start at $25 for 45 min. Reservations for the Aqua Park are highly recommended:
