Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is bringing big changes to the popular haunt on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, with the announcement of its all-new ‘Laser Strike’, putting guests right in the middle of their very own fully immersive real life video game, opening June 16.
Guests start as recruits, where they are issued a laser gun and briefed on their mission. They then enter the haunt where they will encounter animatronics and live actors as zombies, chasing them through the dark hallways.

“This is the first time that we’ve brought something completely different to the Myrtle Beach market,” said Pablo Chavez, General Manager of Ripley’s Attractions and Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach.
“It’s a fully immersive experience almost like a real life video game, Chavez continued. “You get to go inside and actually interact with what’s going on around you.”
