Gretchen Wilson, known for her songs “Here for the Party” and “Redneck Woman” was announced Wednesday as one of the female artists to join the lineup of the 2017 Carolina Country Music Fest coming to Myrtle Beach June 8-11.
Wilson, who released a single “Rowdy” late last year, is performing her first tour date in eight years.
Others announced Wednesday morning as part of CCMF’s “It’s All About the Girls” announcement include Runaway June, who has the hit “Lipstick.”

Morgan Myles (Whiskey Dreaming) makes her return to CCMF for the second straight year.
Lauren Jenkins (My Bar, All Good Things, Addicted to Love) also returns to the CCMF stage for the second straight year.
YouTube artist Kennedy Fitzsimmons also joins the lineup.
Those who purchase wristbands by Friday will get into the Thursday night concert starring Montgomery Gentry free.
