Chesney, Aldean, Rucker top the 2017 Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach
The Carolina Country Music Fest will be in Myrtle Beach from June 8-11, 2017. The four-day event features headliners as well as newcomers to the country music scene.
Below is a break down by day, according to the concert schedules released by each artist:
THURSDAY
Montgomery Gentry has been named as the artist who will kick off the 2017 CCMF concert series June 8-11, 2017. The duo is know for such hits as “Gone,” “Something to Be Proud Of,” “My Town,” and more. Tickets will be $19 for the opening Thursday night show.
The kick off show has featured Sam Hunt in 2015 and Gary Allan in 2016.
Also joining Montgomery Gentry on opening night is Runaway June with their incredibly catchy tune “Lipstick.”
FRIDAY
Rucker gives back to the community through his long-standing April event Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
He made it big as lead singer of the band “Hootie and the Blowfish” with such hits as “Let Her Cry,” “Hold My Hand,” and “Only Wanna Be With You.” In 2014, Rucker shot the music video “Homegrown Honey” on the Coastal Carolina University campus and can be viewed here.

Country music superstar Kenny Chesney will headline Saturday night for CCMF 2017. Chesney
Kenny Chesney/The Stateis know for many hits, including “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” “She’s Got It All,” and “There Goes My Life.”
Chesney’s connection to the Myrtle Beach area includes filming “Anything But Mine” in front of the Hurricane rollercoaster at the former Pavilion site. The former Pavilion site closed in 2006, but that’s where the 2017 Carolina Country Music Fest will take place.
