Things To Do

Meet Santa, the Grinch and more at "Winter Wonderland" at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach SC

Christmas has finally descended upon the Myrtle Beach area and Broadway at the Beach has its very own interactive walk-through “Winter Wonderland.”

As you enter the wonderland a row of nutcrackers and Christmas trees greets you, along with subtle references to popular Christmas movies.

Once inside, guests will be transported to various lands where they can explore Santa’s castle, visit Mt. Crumpet for a chat with the Grinch, watch Santa’s elves in action and even meet the big man himself, Santa Claus.

Anna and Elsa of Disney’s “Frozen” will be on hand to meet fans and pose for pictures, and if that’s not enough for you enter Winter Wonderland’s private theatre where you can watch the film and relive the memories. The Disney experience continues as the path winds around to find Mickey & Minnie Mouse waiting to meet their fans and pose for photos.

Stop by the barn and take a tour of the Santa’s reindeer stalls, and then visit the snow cave where you can play in the snow!

Once you’ve seen all there is to see in Winter Wonderland, head on over to Five Nights at Freddy’s Pizzeria for various snacks, beverages and pizza.

For those of you already missing Halloween worry not, the creators of Winter Wonderland are also the minds behind Dr. Scream’s Haunted House, and have put those minds together to create “The Krampus Experience,” where guests will stumble through the dark in search of the notorious Krampus, witnessing all the destruction and aftermath the Krampus has left behind. The Krampus Experience will be separate from Winter Wonderland, so don’t worry about the Krampus staling your Christmas spirit!

The price of admission for Winter Wonderland is $7 per person, and the attraction is open through the end of the year Monday – Thursday, 5 pm – 8 pm, Fridays 5 pm – 10 pm, Saturdays 12 pm – 10 pm, and Sundays 1 pm – 8 pm.
