The Taste of Georgetown returns for seventh year

The Taste of Georgetown is returning for its seventh year on Nov. 5 from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The restaurant crawl will take place along Front St. in Georgetown, where many of the restaurants are located. More restaurants will be located in a tent in Francis Marion Park.

On top of the 23 restaurants that are scheduled for the event, Jessie Wilson Jr. & Friends, John Lammonds & Holly Cervini, and Tom Cowieson are performing live. Many local shops will be open during the event.

Proceeds benefit the Family Justice Center, a non-profit organization that serves victims of domestic violence in Horry and Georgetown counties.

The organization hopes to create a “community where there is zero tolerance of domestic violence.”

Tickets for the even are $1 each or $20 for 23 tickets.
