This Memorial Day weekend, remember those who have lost their lives defending our freedom, by honoring veterans and saluting current members of the military.
This year’s activities have moved away from Ocean Boulevard and will be held at The Market Common.
Related contentThe Military Appreciation Days Parade will be held Saturday, May 28. The parade, led by Grand Marshal Noah Galloway, will start at 10:30 a.m. on Howard Avenue and along Farrow Parkway. Sergeant Noah Galloway was a career solider until he was injured in an IED attack in Iraq. Galloway lost his left arm and his left leg. Galloway has overcome his injuries and you may recognize him from television. Galloway placed third on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Galloway is also a personal trainer and motivational speaker.

On Monday, attend the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Convention Center Plaza. Music begins at 10:30 a.m. and the ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
